IPTV Smarters VPN 2026 in short
- The VPN section of IPTV Smarters Pro takes an OpenVPN profile: a .ovpn file plus your VPN username and password.
- It does not take a WireGuard file. For WireGuard, use the official WireGuard app on the same device.
- The exact menu name differs by app version, so look for the VPN section on the home screen or in the settings.
What you need
For the IPTV Smarters VPN 2026 setup you need:
- IPTV Smarters Pro on the device you watch on.
- An active plan.
- The .ovpn file of a location and your VPN username and password, from your account.
How to set it up
1Open your VPN details
Sign in to your IPTV VPN account, open Subscriptions and open your VPN subscription. The Your VPN card holds your VPN username and password, an OpenVPN file (.ovpn) for each server location and a WireGuard setup for each device number.
2Get the .ovpn file onto the device
Press Download next to the location you want, on the device that runs IPTV Smarters Pro. On a TV, press Copy link instead and open that address in the TV's browser. The link works for 14 days.
3Open the VPN section of the app
Open IPTV Smarters Pro and look for its VPN section. On many devices it sits on the home screen, on others in the settings. The exact menu name differs by app version.
4Import the profile
Add a profile from a file and pick the .ovpn file you downloaded. It is usually in the Downloads folder. Our guide on how to import an .ovpn file covers this step in detail.
5Sign in and connect
Enter the VPN username and password from the Your VPN card and connect. Then open your playlist as usual. The profile tries the quick UDP connection first and moves to TCP by itself when a network does not allow UDP.
The other way: WireGuard on the whole device

Stealth mode and IPTV Smarters Pro
Stealth mode does not work inside the VPN section of IPTV Smarters Pro. On a network that blocks VPN connections, connect in a stealth app first, then open the app. See stealth mode.
Fixes when it does not connect
Most IPTV Smarters VPN 2026 problems come down to one of these:
- Login refused. Copy the VPN username and password again from your account. They are case sensitive, and a space at the end counts.
- It keeps trying. Remove the old profile and import a fresh .ovpn file.
- It worked yesterday. Check that your plan is still active in Subscriptions. An app update can also remove imported profiles.
- Connected, but nothing plays. Close the app fully and open it again with the VPN on.

Good habits
- Connect the VPN before you open your playlist.
- Keep the .ovpn file of the location closest to you.
- Count your devices: with the OpenVPN profile, your plan counts the connections that use your VPN username at the same time.
- Keep your VPN login apart from your playlist login. They are not the same.
What to check in 2026
- Update IPTV Smarters Pro, then check that your VPN profile is still in its list.
- If the profile is old, download a fresh .ovpn file. It always lists the current servers.
- Set the date and time on the device to automatic. A wrong date can stop the VPN from connecting.
- Use the location marked Closest to you in your account.
