Set up a VPN in IPTV Smarters Pro

Set it up in five steps

   Step 1: Open your VPN details

   Sign in to your account, open Subscriptions and open your VPN subscription. The "Your VPN" card has your VPN username and password and your setup files.

   Step 2: Get the .ovpn file onto the device

   Press Download next to a server location on the device that runs IPTV Smarters Pro. On a TV, press Copy link instead and open that address in a browser on the TV. The link works for 14 days.

   Step 3: Open the VPN section of the app

   IPTV Smarters Pro has its own VPN section for OpenVPN profiles. The exact menu name differs by app version, so look for VPN on the home screen or in the settings.

   Step 4: Import the file

   Choose to add a profile from a file and pick the .ovpn file you downloaded. The exact menu name differs by app version.

   Step 5: Sign in and connect

   Enter the VPN username and password from the "Your VPN" card and connect. Then open your playlist as usual.

The app or the whole device?

The VPN inside IPTV Smarters Pro covers what you watch in that app. To cover every app on the device, use the WireGuard app instead.

The file tries the quick UDP connection first and moves to TCP by itself when a network does not allow UDP.

If it does not connect

• Copy the VPN username and password again. They are case sensitive.
• Download a fresh .ovpn file from your account and import it again.
• Check that your plan is active in Subscriptions.
• On a network that blocks VPN connections, use stealth mode in a stealth app instead.
