Set up a VPN on Android TV
On Android TV and Android TV boxes, the official WireGuard app covers every app on the device, your IPTV app included.
Set it up in four steps
Step 1: Install WireGuard
Install the official WireGuard app from Google Play on the TV. On a box without Google Play, use Download APK File on wireguard.com/install.
Step 2: Download your tunnel file
Open your account in a browser on the TV, then Subscriptions and your VPN subscription. Pick a device number and press Download .conf.
Step 3: Import the file
In WireGuard, choose Import from file or archive and pick the .conf file. On a TV screen the exact menu name differs by app version.
Step 4: Switch it on
Switch the tunnel on and allow the VPN connection when Android asks. Then open your IPTV app.

Good to know
- A phone with Android can scan the QR code in WireGuard with Scan from QR code. A TV usually has no camera, so use the file.
- Use a different device number on each TV or box.
- Your plan covers up to 3 devices at the same time.

Does WireGuard cover my IPTV app?
Yes. While the tunnel is on, every app on the TV uses the VPN.
My box has no Google Play. What now?
WireGuard offers the Android app as a file on wireguard.com/install. Download and install it there.
Where is my .conf file?
Sign in to your account, open Subscriptions and open your VPN subscription. The "Your VPN" card has your VPN username and password and your setup files.
