Set up a VPN on Windows and Mac
On a computer, the official WireGuard app covers every app, your IPTV player included. OpenVPN Connect with your .ovpn file is the other option.
WireGuard in four steps
Step 1: Install WireGuard
Windows: download the installer from wireguard.com/install. Mac: install WireGuard from the App Store.
Step 2: Download your tunnel file
Sign in to your account, open Subscriptions and your VPN subscription. Pick a device number and press Download .conf.
Step 3: Import the file
In WireGuard, choose Import tunnel(s) from file and pick the .conf file.
Step 4: Activate
Press Activate. On a Mac, allow WireGuard to add a VPN configuration the first time. Then start your IPTV player.
Prefer OpenVPN Connect?
Install OpenVPN Connect, open the Menu, then My Profiles, press the add icon and choose Upload File. Pick the .ovpn file from your account. On Windows and Mac you can also drag the file into the app.
Enter the VPN username and password from the "Your VPN" card and connect.
Good to know
- Use a different WireGuard device number on each computer.
- Your plan covers up to 3 devices at the same time.
Questions and answers
WireGuard or OpenVPN Connect?
Both cover the whole computer. WireGuard needs no username and password once the file is imported.
Does it work with any IPTV player?
Yes. While the VPN is on, every app on the computer uses it.
Where are my files?
Sign in to your account, open Subscriptions and open your VPN subscription. The "Your VPN" card has your VPN username and password and your setup files.
